Stargazer asked:

I have a south facing garden but live in Durham in the north east. I really want to try growing peppers but don’t have a greenhouse. I already have a ‘growhouse’ for my tomatoes but it doesn’t have enough room to grow peppers too. Is it possible to grow peppers in pots on a sunny patio?

    Sounds reasonable to me.

Yes, you can. Make sure that u have at least 12″ pot for the roots to go deep. Time to time turn the top of the soil(3″-4″ deep) when it is hard before blooming.

yes they can be, just make sure you can save them from cold ( snow etc) and use some deep pots.

and there is no reason why you should not enjoy your homegrown peppers.
