Will the seeds I saved last year prduce plants?

I saved the seeds from my gerbrera daisies last year. I want to plant them and I purchased a 72 peat pellet greenhouse from lowes. I have been reading and I am finding the info discouraging. Has anyone grown these plants from seeds that they saved? I would love any tips and instruction on how to do this successfully.

I save seeds over every year and they are ok if you keep them dry. I never kept the ones you mentioned but I see no reason they wouldn/t be good.
Were they hybrid daisies? If so, the flowers will be ugly because the seed reverts back to a previous generation that was possibly a transition to the flowers you had last year.
As long as they are not from a “hybrid variety” as Kacky stated above. Hybrid seeds will not grow true to form. If the seed is from the species.. “Gerbera jamesonii” however, they will grow normally. As long as the seed you harvested was ripe and you kept them in a cool, dry place, and they are of jamesonii species, yes..

i save my seeds to all of my plants and floers every year!i have already planted my squash seeds, marigold seeds, moss rose seeds, and alot of others!and they are all already up. i wouldnt worry about whether or not they are hybrid or not, they will still come up,but there may be a little difference in what ever it is,but not much!plant your seeds and water them with a miracle grow solution and they should do great! good luck and happy gardening!
