I am growing a couple of strawberry plants in a pot on my doorstep and where there is sunshine for about 4-5 hours a day but I was wondering if they would grow better in a greenhouse
No animals can get into the garden except from birds which get fedin the garden and if it helps the variety of strawberry is ‘Elsanta’

They would perhaps grow faster, and it would keep the birds away. I thought i had planted my strawberries far enough away from the bird feeders to be safe, and the birdies got them anyway.:(
I plan to buy a greenhouse next year for just this reason. I love to feed the birds, but they are not willing to share the strawberries. They only left me 1 little strawberry.
    Greedy little snots.
